LAirA (Landside Airport Accessibility) is an Interreg Central Europe international project focussed on landside mobility planning at eight airports across Europe (Milan Malpensa and Linate, Vienna, Budapest, Warsaw Modlin, Stuttgart, Dubrovnik and Poznan).
SEA Milan Airports is our project partner and is engaged in testing pilot services for Linate and Malpensa passengers and employees and in delivering a long-term strategy for the Airports’ sustainable surface access.
Our team of experts provides SEA project management and technical consultancy to deliver the project.
Steer analysed Malpensa and Linate Airports’ surface access and reviewed international best practices to inform SEA and the project partners’ surface access strategies in seven key thematic areas: electric mobility, air-rail links, walking and cycling, shared mobility, mobility Apps, wayfinding, and road public transport.
Steer is assisting SEA in delivering two pilot projects focussed on employees’ car-pooling and the enhancement of Milan Airports App’s surface access functionalities.
Our technical and managerial expertise is supporting SEA’s actions for sustainable surface access and the Client’s international engagement.
