Natalia is a Civil Engineer and holds a Master in Transport Engineering, with more than 21 years of professional consulting experience in various types of projects with emphasis on traffic management, demand projection, planning and social evaluation of urban mobility projects. She has extensive experience leading teams and projects for private and public clients, and dialoguing with broad inter-institutional public counterparts, to obtain agreements that lead to the approval of complex projects.
Her modelling skills, ranging from strategic to micro-simulation, have allowed her to participate in different types of projects, with emphasis on traffic management and demand forecasting. She has been the lead modeller in several projects in Chile, Colombia, Peru, England and France. She has extensive experience in tactical modelling, with projects assessing the impact of new urban developments in London, testing for some urban concessions in Santiago additional works to improve their operation, or proposing new port access alternatives in Antofagasta.
In recent years, Natalia has also worked in electromobility projects, in a technical due diligence for the purchase of electric vehicle fleets and on consultancy for the promotion of fleet transfer to electric vehicles.
Natalia completed the Urban Women Leaders 2022 programme, "Leading Women's Mobility and Early Childhood", developed by Mujeres en movimiento, Despacio and the Bernard van Leer Foundation, and funded by CAF, AFD, GIZ and Euroclima.
